Shu Du Fan Dian storefront and Sichuan dish displays at People's Park Complex

A Chengdu-connected family favourite

Shu Du Fan Dian

蜀都饭店 · People's Park Complex

A Sichuan restaurant with a special place in our family's Singapore food routine.

Our personal route to Chengdu

Recognised by our peony parrot

My wife is from Chengdu, so Sichuan cooking is close to home for us. We come here around three or four times a month for dishes we love, and the servers recognise us not so much by our faces as by our pet peony parrot.

That little detail has turned a restaurant visit into a familiar neighbourhood ritual. The storefront identifies the restaurant as Shu Du Fan Dian (蜀都饭店) and presents it as Sichuan cuisine. This page shares our personal experience, not an independent assessment of the restaurant's origins or recipes.

Our favourites

  • Hot Pot Fish
  • Mouthwatering Chicken
  • Spicy Grilled Fish

These are our regular picks. Menus, spice levels, availability, and prices may change; check with the restaurant when ordering.
